For the 9th consecutive year, firefighters from fire departments across Indiana team up with Wheeler Mission to help get a knock on homelessness in Indianapolis. The group will be participating in the Drumstick Dash in full turnout gear and SCBA, carrying a tool or section of hose. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $3,000 in 2019 to help fight homelessness in our city! Donate to this cause and be a part of providing food and shelter to those less fortunate during the coming holiday season.
On any given night, over 1,600 people in Indianapolis find themselves homeless -- our neighbors, children in our kids' schools, people we see every day in the community...And they need our help.
Wheeler Mission helps men, women, and children facing homelessness, poverty, and addiction. As a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, Wheeler provides shelter, meals, residential programs, addiction recovery, and other critical programs without regard to race, color, sexual orientation, creed, national origin, or religion. Founded in 1893, Wheeler is the oldest continuously operating ministry of its kind in Indiana. With nine locations throughout Indianapolis and Bloomington, it is the largest and most diverse ministry of its kind in the state.
Please help us raise critical funds to provide meals, shelter, and care for the men, women, and children who come to Wheeler for help. 100% of proceeds goes directly to Wheeler Mission.
Thank you for your support!
