Join the 2026 Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash Family Ambassador Program!
Wheeler Mission invites families to help grow the 2026 Drumstick Dash by becoming part of our Family Ambassador Program! If your family loves the Dash and enjoys inviting others to join meaningful traditions, this program is for you. Family Ambassadors help inspire friends, neighbors, classmates, and coworkers to “move their feet so others can eat!” — all while helping expand the impact of the event in our community.
Click “Volunteer” to apply today. Applications are due by March 20, and families will be notified of their status on March 23.
A background check is required for participating adults.
What Family Ambassadors Do:
*Use your personalized referral link to invite friends, extended family, school communities, churches, teams, and workplaces to register.
*Post about the Drumstick Dash on social media or in community groups to spread the word.
*Wear Drumstick Dash gear in the community and talk about why your family participates.
*Family Ambassadors are encouraged to recruit participants through their custom referral link. Weekly progress updates will be provided so you can track your impact.
*Participate in occasional emails, surveys, or feedback opportunities to help us improve the experience.

Ambassador Responsibilities
*Participate in the Ambassador Kickoff Meeting (date and location TBD).
*Share flyers and promotional materials at local running stores, gyms, coffee shops, community boards, races, and more.
*Post or share Drumstick Dash content on social media (minimum of two unique posts or shares per month).
*Promote the Drumstick Dash within running clubs, workplaces, friend groups, and at community events. Wear Drumstick Dash gear while training or participating in other races.
*Recruit a minimum of five participants using your personalized tracking link and custom $5-off referral code. Weekly progress updates will be provided.
Choose at least one opportunity to volunteer at:
*Drumstick Dash booth at the Mini Marathon Expo
*Drumstick Dash at Victory Field
*Drumstick Dash booth during the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon Expo
*Drumstick Dash Expo & Packet Pick-Up
*Volunteer at one of Wheeler Mission’s sites
