Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash

 

The Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash is looking for influential runners and walkers to represent the 2023 event by joining our Ambassador Club! This is THE Club to be in, as you'll enjoy custom gear, access to pre-event promotions, VIP accommodations, and more!

Ambassadors will help represent the race, inspiring people in your community to "move their feet so others can eat!" Read through the Perks and Responsibilities below and to apply to become a Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash Ambassador at the bottom of the page.

Applications are due by end of day April 30th and everyone will be notified about their status May 15th.

A background check will be required for anyone that is selected to be a 2023 Drumstick Dash Ambassador.

 

Drumstick Dash Ambassador Club Perks:

• Monthly Ambassador Club Zoom calls with event staff to get event updates and give feedback
• Exclusive Ambassador Club Facebook group to interact with other ambassadors and event staff
• Personal bio, photo, and social media links posted on our event website and highlighted on Drumstick Dash social media
• Drumstick Dash Ambassador swag (will be at our first ambassador in person meeting)
• A $5 discount for anyone registering using your personal referral link
• Free registration code for Ambassadors
• Ambassador Club group photo at the start line with race mascot, Dash
• Earn Drumstick Dash swag and other incentives when you reach certain milestones when people use your personal referral link to register (details coming soon!)
• You will receive a social media tool kit to help you when posting

 

Responsibilities: 

• ATTEND: Ambassador Club members must attend our first Ambassador Club meeting on June 15th. Time and place TBD. Must attend 2 out of the next 3 monthly zoom meetings, scheduled from 12:30pm – 1:00p AND 8:00pm – 8:30pm (you do not need to attend both) on the last Thursday of July, August, September. There will be an in-person meeting October 26th. Time and place TBD.  Other meetings may be scheduled as needed.
• DISTRIBUTE: In early September, we will send out promotional materials for you to distribute in your local area (running stores, gyms, coffee shops, community boards, local races, etc.).
• SHARE: Share Drumstick Dash social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram and/or create your own Drumstick Dash promo posts. Minimum of 2 posts per a month. #drumstickdash #ddac
• REPRESENT: We need our ambassadors to be our feet, eyes, and ears in the community, promoting the Drumstick Dash.
• REGISTER: Our Ambassadors must be registered for the 2023 Drumstick Dash to earn recruitment perks and receive referral link.
• RECRUIT: Each Ambassador is required to recruit a minimum of 5 participants. To assist you with this, your personal referral link will include a $5 discount! To help you track your progress, weekly recruitment updates will be posted on the Ambassador Facebook group. Don’t forget you can earn Drumstick Dash swag by recruiting!
• CONSULT: Help us improve our event! Participate in forums, surveys, and other emailed questions as needed.
• VOLUNTEER: Choose a minimum of 1 opportunity:
  • Drumstick Dash Night at Victory Field
  • Drumstick Dash booth during the Corporate Challenge
  • Indianapolis Monumental Marathon Expo
  • Drumstick Dash Expo & Packet Pick-Up
  • or volunteer to serve at one of Wheeler Mission’s sites (visit www.wheelervolunteer.org for locations and available times)
